1x12-8’ #4 Ponderosa Pine Sheathing Boards
1x12 #4 Sheathing used to be used for floor, wall, and roof sheathing before Plywood and OSB. Today #4 Sheathing is mainly used for shelving boards, or cut up for craft projects. All of the board can’t always be used but most of the board can be used. The boards vary greatly in quality.
#4 Grade is allowed the following defects, Splits ¼ the length, Seasoning checks, torn and raised grain, Pitch streaks, Pitch or bark pockets, Wane, White speck and honeycomb, Holes up to 3-1/2”.
